This fabulous bottle belongs on a very special vanity table! The bottle is the famous Golden Bea design that was the "signature" of Empress Eugenie of France. The fragrance was designed by Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain as a special tribute to his Empress. Because of this beautiful tribute Guerlain became the Official Purveyor of the court of Napoleon III. The bottle is decorated with 18K gold bees in bas relief. It is a limited edition that Guerlain presented about 10 years ago. It commands a great deal of attention standing 10 inches tall and containing 1000ml of fragrance. The bottle has never been opened. This mid 20th century perfume house was founded by Mme Carven who started her business as a dress designer for petite women...she also produced a line of jewelry. This bottle has never been opened.
